Covid - 19 Information For Guests

We are over the moon that we will be able to welcome guests back from 26th April 2021. We have so missed having the lights on in the Potting Shed and are aware of how much people will be craving the peace, quiet and relaxation on offer. We are all ready and can't wait to welcome people back.


From the start  of the pandemic we have offered full refunds or allowed guests to move their booking if Covid rules have meant holidays are not allowed to go ahead. So you have nothing to loose by booking in when the rules will allow us to welcome you back.  I think people really need a wee break to look forward to at the moment so we hope you feel confident to book (we still have some availability in Spring and Summer)


We have put measures in place to ensure our guests and the local community are kept as safe as possible.

We have signed up to Sawday's " Clean and Safe Charter". This means we will:-

  • Follow government cleaning advice for non- healthcare environments - all high touch, hard surfaces will be cleaned twice, disinfected and all will linen washed on the hottest water setting. Pillow and matress protectors will be changed as part of every change over.

  • Self check in and social distancing -  The key will be sterilised before arrival and guests will be informed where they can pick it up. The rural location of the Potting Shed means that social distancing is the norm! Usually we pop down to welcome guests but to respect social distancing we will not be doing this until it is safe to do so. 

  • Measures put in place to allow guests to practice good hygiene throughout their stay - We have ample supplies of hand sanitisers and soap.


Further details of the measures we have put in place will be sent out to guests as part of their pre-arrival information.


We want you to feel safe and be reassured that we have played our part to minimise risk for our guests. If you have any queries or would like to discuss any thing with us please do not hesitate to get in touch.

For any bookings that have had to be cancelled as a result of Covid-19 we have given a full refund or guests have moved their bookings. This will remain our policy going forward.
